Eight sandwiches, made to order at the café counter — za'atar chicken, hot honey salmon, tuna, goat cheese and beet, and a few vegetarian builds, on ciabatta, sourdough, croissant or bagel.
Made to Order, Café Side
Nova's sandwiches come off the café counter, the same side of the room that pulls the espresso — not a separate kitchen on a delay. Bread comes from local Astoria bakers, and every sandwich is built when you order it, not pre-made and wrapped.
The board covers a range on purpose: a za'atar chicken sandwich for something substantial, a hot honey salmon for something richer, and four vegetarian builds — avocado, hummus, goat cheese and beet, or a miso-avocado combination — for anyone skipping meat.
Most regulars order a sandwich with an iced espresso drink from the café counter, or a cold-pressed juice from the juice bar next door. More on Nova's coffee →
